Sowing Seasons is a 3 piece pop punk band from central Florida. They contacted me to bring their vision for their album ‘Back Then’ to life. The album is sonically a light-hearted album filled with upbeat and fast-tempo music. This is contrasted by the melancholy lyrics. The visuals for this album needed to convey both sides of the band.

After some initial ideas, we landed on a concept that felt could represent both the music sonic identity as well as its lyrical identity. The cover would be colorful but would include imagery that would showcase a small sliver of the story. In this way, a visual language was established and I could move on to designing the rest of the material for the album release.
