CENSOR VISUAL IDENTITY

Skateboarding. An extreme sport known for its rebellious spirit and its impact on pop culture. Skateboarding is one of my fondest memories as a kid. I still love it, and I wanted to explore what a skateboarding brand could look like—one that has its roots in the culture and isn’t afraid to be bold and different.

The visual identity for Censor doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s fun, lighthearted, and most importantly, recognizable. The concept of censoring its images can be used as a joke, as a message, or simply as a way to rebel against the norm. This flexibility allows the brand to communicate however it sees fit with its audience. Most importantly, it emphasizes the sport rather than the people and the fame that may come with it.
